What’s Fixture or Gauges?
The Fixtures or Gauges are the tools or instrument which can ensure the inspection personal to check, inspect the dimensions, shapes,outlines or accuracy of the single parts or sub-asemblies, to judge if they can meet the desired result or standard quickly and timely on the production line;
Basically, there are two big kinds of Fixtures; Base Plate Fixtures, and Base Rack Fixture.
Base Plate Fixture:
Base plate fixture is a small seizure, general area of length and width is less than 500x500 mm suitable for substrate type. Base plate fixture is representing small single piece of finished products, such as punching or small plastic and rubber parts ... And so on.
Base Rack Fixture:
Base Rack Fixture checking is a large fixture, generally applicable in the area more than 500x500 mm, the main objective being to reduce weight and reduce costs. Large gauges due to heavier weight, handling and transportation is difficult, and most often used test units, such as pipe or iron, check out some less, if the adoption of the base plate, is waste material.
Process of fixture making:
According to the different checking point of the part, the fixture types can be divided into: single fixture, Assembly Fixture, bend piple fixture , frame line fixtue , platform Fixture, door panel fixtures;
